We add chopped pistachios, shredded coconut and fragrant spices like cardamom and ginger. A quick simmer and some fresh or dried fruit is all it takes to enjoy this Senegalese influenced breakfast.

2 Cups Water
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Using a whisk slowly add 1 cup Fonio Porridge to the boiling water. Lower heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, cover and let sit and additional 3 to 5 minutes.
Stir well before serving with fruits.
