Makes 4 to 6 servings


  1. Heat coconut oil in medium sauce pot. Toast kaniwa until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

  2. Add coconut milk, vanilla bean seeds, cinnamon, salt and coconut palm sugar to pot, and bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat to a simmer, then cover and cook until tender, about 11 to 13 minutes. Spoon into serving bowls.

  4. Add extra coconut milk, if desired, and top with dried blueberries.
