1 Cup Black Walnut Pieces

1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup

1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread Black Walnut Pieces on baking tray and place in oven for 10 minutes.

Place cooled walnuts in food processor and pulse to a powder consistency. Scrape the processor bowl occasionally and run continuously to form a paste.

As the paste loosens into a more buttery texture drizzle in the oil slowly. Finish by pulsing in maple syrup and salt. Store in clean, tightly sealed jar in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
