1 Cup Steel Cut Oat Groats

1 Cup Coconut Milk Powder

1 1/2 Tablespoons Baharat Spice Blend

3 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar

1 Teaspoon Kosher Sea Salt Flakes

6 Cups Water, divided

Whole Or 2 Percent Milk

In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then slowly stir in groats Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Remove from heat, add the dried apricots. Allow apricots to soften for 15 minutes

Heat the remaining 2 cups of water to a simmer, stir in the coconut milk powder. Hear for one minute, then add the cooked groats, stirring well and allowing to absorb the coconut milk, and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes. Stir in brown sugar, baharat spice, and salt. Stir in milk to desired consistency.
