Tri-Colored Italian Orzo Blend is a colorful mixture of tomato, spinach and plain rice-shaped pasta. The firm texture, colorful appearance and subtle flavor of this pasta make it a flexible and versatile ingredient that maintains its shape and flavor when cooked. It can be substituted for rice or other pastas.
Add 1 cup of orzo to a large pot of boiling water with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of neutral cooking oil. Cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente and strain. Rinse with cold water to cool for salads or use immediately in hot preparations.
