Thai Jasmine Rice
Jasmine Rice is a long-grain rice with a sweet scent and mild flavor. We acquire fragrant white grains that cook fluffy, only slightly sticky, from its native Thailand for our Jasmine Rice.
Boil 1 cup Jasmine Rice with 1-1/2 cups water in covered pot. Reduce heat and simmer for about 12 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Season as desired and fluff with fork before serving.
Storage & handling
Store in a dry, cool place.
Named after the sweet-smelling jasmine flower of Southeast Asia, Jasmine Rice has a naturally distinctive, sweet bread-like aroma. Its generous long-grain shape and snow-white color are ideal for full-flavored presentations and visually highlighting rice.
Our Jasmine Rice is harvested in Thailand, where it was originally grown.
Jasmine RIce is fragrant and chewy for any rice dish. Leftover Jasmine Rice from a previous meal can be ideally used for this stir fry.
