Porcini Orzo is a mushroom-infused rice-shaped pasta. The firm texture and earthy flavor of this pasta make it a flexible and versatile ingredient that maintains it shape and flavor when cooked. It can be easily substituted for rice in any dish, or served as a side.
Add 1 cup of orzo to a large pot of boiling water with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of neutral cooking oil. Cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente and strain. Rinse with cold water to cool for salads or use immediately in hot preparations.
