Organic Chinese Black Rice
Organic Chinese Black Rice, also known as the Emperor's Rice, is glutinous medium-grain rice that's slightly sticky with a silky dark indigo color when cooked. We source certified organic, all-natural rice with a rich, sweet flavor for our Organic Chinese Black Rice.
Parboiled Organic Chinese Black Rice can be used for virtually anything regular white rice can be used for, both savory and sweet, for more eye-catching color and complimenting textures.
Bring 1 cup rice and 1 3/4 cups water to boil in a pot over high heat. Cover, turn heat to low, and simmer until tender, about 25 minutes. Separate grains with a fork before serving.
