Heritage Rice & Grain Blend
Heritage Rice & Grain Blend is a unique blend of rice, wheat, farro and grano, the classic products of the rolling hills of the Piedmont region of Italy.
Preferred Method - Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add 2 1/2 cups water to a 5 quart baking dish. Add 1 cup grain blend and salt. Cover and bake in oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes until grains are tender. Season to taste.
Stove Top: Bring 3 cups of salted water or stock to a boil. Add 1 cup grain mix and return to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 70-75 minutes: stirring occasionally until grains are tender. Season to taste.
Storage & handling
Store in a dry, cool place.
