Grano is slightly pearled durum wheat that has been used in Italy for centuries. It boasts many of the same versatile qualities as pasta, but has an additional nutritional value.

    Suggested uses

  • Incorporate into pilafs, soups and cold salads

  • Basic prep

    Boil 3-1/2 cups water. Add 1 cup Grano and return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until tender, about 35 minutes. Drain excess water.

    Storage & handling

    1 cup dry makes 2 cups cooked
