Dried Northwoods Mushroom Blend
We created our Northwoods Mushroom Blend, a combination of wild and cultivated mushrooms, to make sharing their savory, earthy flavors easier and more affordable than ever before.
Some of the mushrooms in this blend are wild, and may contain small stones or pebbles trapped within them. Rinse mushrooms under cold running water to remove any possible debris. To rehydrate prior to use, place mushrooms in a heatproof bowl and cover with boiling water. Soak until softened, typically 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to help dislodge any trapped stones. Remove from water, and examine a second time.
Northwoods Mushroom Blend is a savory and versatile mixture of wild and cultivated dried mushrooms. This blend adds rich, hearty flavor to any dish. It contains Lobster, Shiitake, Porcini, Morel, Oyster, Sliced Shiitake and Bolete Mushrooms for a multi-layered mushroom flavor that is more concentrated than that of fresh mushrooms.
