  • Rehydrate then sauté with butter and onions to pair with steak

  • Perfectly complements fish and delicately flavored meats such as chicken or pork

  • Makes a hearty addition to stir fries, pastas and rice dishes.

  • Basic prep

Rinse mushrooms under cold running water to remove any possible debris. To rehydrate prior to use, place desired amount into a bowl, cover with boiling water and let soak for 15 to 20 minutes, agitating occasionally to shake loose any clinging debris. Drain and rinse. Alternatively, rinse and add directly to any recipe that will cook for at least 25 minutes.

    Ingredients

    Dried Mushrooms.

Our Bistro Mushroom Blend is a perfect combination of mild and wild flavored mushrooms, taking the best umami flavors and textures and incorporating them into one cohesive blend. It is a perfect solution for adding premium mushroom flavor to a recipe with consistency and ease.

The consumption of mushrooms dates back to ancient times and are now cultivated commercially with over 20 species. While in season they can be purchased fresh, they are often dried to preserve their delicate flavor and extend their global reach.
