Product Info:
Dried Peaches (Prunus Persica). The Peach is native to China and was introduced to Europe via Persia. An ancient name for the Peach is the Persian Apple. Peaches are yellow gold colored with red tones. They are very flavorful and sweet. Dried Peaches are a wonderful change from the well known dried fruits.Contains sulfites.

Suggested Use:
Dried Peaches make a great substitute for raisins as a snack. Use them chopped in quick breads and muffins, poach and top with ice cream served in a tart shell. Peach and pecan granola is a great way to start your day.

Ingredients:
Peach, sulfur dioxide as a preservative. Peaches are a natural product and may contain an occasional pit piece.

Basic Preparations:
There is no preparation needed for dried fruit. If used in baking, you may want to rehydrate. To rehydrate dried fruit, pour boiling water over the fruit and let sit covered for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain well before using.
